How long does divorce take in the UK?
Under the no-fault divorce system, the minimum time is 26 weeks. This includes a mandatory 20-week reflection period after submitting the application, then at least 6 weeks between the conditional order and final order. Many divorces take 6-12 months including financial settlement.
